LEGAL SECRETARY / PA
INSOLVENCY & BUSINESS RECOVERY

My client are a regional firm with a reputation for dominating the local Property sector - both Commercial & Residential. Having grown substantially after a period of transition, this private practice are seeking a variety of individuals to join their busy offices! Seeking ambitious, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to join a variety of departments, it is an exciting time for this firm!
I am seeking an effective Legal Secretary or Legal PA to provide a first class administrative and secretarial service to the Insolvency & Business Recovery department. Based in the Southampton office, located within the city centre, there is no parking on site but the office is conveniently located within a 10 minute (at most) walk from the central station.
The Legal Secretary will be responsible for:
- All administrative tasks for the department
- Document production - including Audio Typing / Digital Dictation
- Document Management (case management system management)
- Providing a first class client service
- Diary Management
Supporting a team of experienced professionals, efficiency and accuracy is crucial to this role and the successful applicant will be expected to be able to hit the ground running with mininal training. - In-house system training will be provided by the client.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong academic record
- Experience within a legal environment providing support (administrators will be considered for this role, not just legal secretaries)
- Excellent communication skills
It is required that all Legal Secretary Applicants are motivated, disciplined and possess a pro-active attitude to their work. Managing a busy workload with tight deadlines, it is essential that the Legal Secretary is able to effectively manage their time and prioritise their workload in order to complete necessary tasks. IT proficient, the successful Legal Secretary will have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Offices Packages and Outlook accompanied with experience of Audio Typing or Digital Dictation.
